This scarf is sometimes called  " Sanssoucy "   , which was the summer palace of  Frederick  the Great of Prussia..

The name itself means "No worries ."and this is  where he came to relax .

Voltaire  also came  to Sanssoucy many times  ,as a friend and tutor to the King.
This scarf shows a moment in history ..Voltaire and the King  enjoying a discourse in these wonderful gardens.

Their friendship lasted over 50:years  until their different ideas on politics ended their friendship..

This is a wonderful scarf  ..in great vintage condition .
